State-by-State Comparison of TuitionResident Undergraduate Tuition and Mandatory Fees

Each year, the ABOR Central office reviews resident undergraduate tuition and mandatory fees at peer institutions (those most similar to each of our state schools) for ASU, NAU and UA. Key findings include:

  • Undergraduate tuition at Arizona State University is 25 percent below the average cost of its peers. New undergraduate, in-state students starting Fall 2010 pay $8,128.
  • Undergraduate tuition at Northern Arizona University is 20 percent below the average cost of its peers. New undergraduate, in-state students starting Fall 2010 pay $7,053.
  • Undergraduate tuition at The University of Arizona is 19 percent below the average cost of its peers. New undergraduate, in-state students starting Fall 2010 pay $8,237
